To increase or decrease paragraph indentation beyond the margins, specify negative Left and Right settings. On the Layout tab, in the Paragraph group, in the Indent area, specify the Left or Right settings. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the Increase Indent or Decrease Indent button to change only the left indent. In the Indentation area, specify the Left, Right, and Special settings.
